A small portion of the crew from 7 Chinese Brothers stepped in to help one of its stars, Tunde Adebimpe create a music video for his psyche outfit, Higgins Waterproof Black Magic Band.
We brought Bloodyfield Special Effects in for body paint and mask fabrication and it all turned out incredibly. I took care of straight makeup, hair, light special effects and even donned a mask alongside our professional dancers.
I’m super proud to be a part of it all.

Cut, styled and dyed these synthetic wigs for a friend’s sketch, Going to America. At purchase they were a dark gray, and I went through the painstaking and rewarding process of hand painting them with a mixture of white acrylic ink and alcohol. Made use of my Skin Illustrator Hair Aging palette for Andrew’s face and chest.
And I don’t know if my face will ever recover from laughing while Ximena rubbed crumbled oreos (“soot”) into her teeth for multiple takes.
